B. Cody Shields is a Florida-based Christian hip-hop artist and founder of the ministry This Is His — a movement built on one powerful truth: everything we have belongs to Yahweh God.

After building a successful real estate company, the Lord slowly began stirring something deep in his heart. When the Lord called him to Christian music, he never imagined he and his family would leave the security of a stable career to pursue this new calling of leading people to Jesus.

This journey came with a lot of uncertainty, prayer, and moments of wrestling with fear. But through that process, God continued to make it clear that obedience mattered more than comfort.

Out of that season came This Is His — a ministry and message about surrender, honesty, and the reminder that every gift and every opportunity belongs to the Lord.

Cody’s music carries the raw honesty of someone who has wrestled with anxiety, depression, fear, and addiction but followed anyway — highlighting what it looks like to fully surrender, be honest about mental health, and trust God beyond comfort.

Through his music, Cody hopes to highlight the process of learning to trust the Lord, and the freedom that comes when we stop trying to control everything ourselves.

His heart is simple — to use whatever platform God gives him to point people back to Christ.

Because in the end, Everything is His.
